About Me
Precise Bodywork & In-Depth Education — Beyond Trends
I’m a sports scientist with a focus on rehabilitation, prevention and somatic healing.
Over the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to understanding movement, the human body and the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing.
My professional background includes over 1,500 hours of comprehensive Pilates training, more than 600 hours of yoga teacher training, as well as further education in kinesiology, osteopathic concepts, TRX, yoga massage, Polyvagal Theory and TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises).
My interest in healing is not only professional, but also personal.
As a teenager and young adult, I experienced eating disorders, depression and the impact of bullying.
These experiences led me on a deeper journey of self-discovery and healing.
Throughout my thirties, I spent extended periods of time in India and Latin America,
exploring meditation, yoga and traditional healing practices.
Today, my work goes beyond exercise.
I combine movement, body awareness and nervous system-informed approaches to help people
reconnect with their bodies, build resilience and create lasting change.
I believe that healing begins when we feel safe.
For many years, I have worked with people who want to better understand their bodies and use them with greater confidence and ease — following injuries, with persistent physical complaints, or during periods of physical and nervous system exhaustion.
At the heart of my work is calm, precise one-to-one support. It is important to me that people feel safe, respected and genuinely heard in my sessions.
My sessions are not simply training in the conventional sense. They are a structured process in which the body can gradually develop greater orientation, stability and trust. I mainly work on the pilates apparatus. Pilates is not a fitness trend to me. It is a structured and highly effective method for strengthening, stabilising and transforming the body in a sustainable way.
My work is not about doing more or pushing harder. It is about:
Quality of movement
Clarity and precision in execution
Meaningful progression
A deep understanding of the body
A deep understanding of the nervous system.
This approach shapes both my one-to-one work and my work as an educator.
My Professional Background
My professional path has been shaped by many years of exploring movement, body-based practices and health from different perspectives.
I studied Sports Science with a focus on Rehabilitation and Prevention and subsequently pursued further education in a range of therapeutic, body-based and movement-oriented approaches.
I also spent more than ten years living abroad, including in Mexico and India, where I further explored meditation and traditional shamanic healing practices.
Many of these experiences continue to inform my work today, even though I do not offer them individually as separate services. They form the background to the way I work: calm, precise and individualised.
Alongside my one-to-one work, I share my knowledge through professional education and teacher training. My aim is not simply to teach techniques and exercises, but to develop a genuine understanding of movement, the body and effective teaching.
I deliberately take a different approach from many conventional fitness training programmes. The focus is on developing the ability to understand, assess and support each individual in a meaningful and appropriate way.
